One of the reasons why we based our home office in Northwest Arkansas is because of the amazing flying opportunities close to our home airport. (KASG)

Check out some of the local history of Thaden Field (KVBT) where Louise Thaden flew with her friend Amelia Earhart.
Born in Bentonville in 1905, Louise M. Thaden took to the skies in 1927. By 1928 she was setting records in the air and breaking barriers for women on the ground. Louise was the first woman to win a National Air Race, the first to take a Bendix Trophy.
